I know that I was until I came up with this ADVmachines™ solution. Made from Laser cut Stainless Steel, this ADVmachines™ mid shield mounts in the Vee of the frame just above the right side foot peg.
This part stands out as a result of attention to details like plastic edge trim, mounting holes that securely hold the part in place that line up with the SE frame/boot guard. This shield is easy to mount with the provided plastic zip ties. Fits all 950 and 990 models.

Mduro™ Upper Fairing partially fills the area just under the lower triple clamp between the fork tubes. It helps keep debris from passing up into the steering neck area and mildly enhances air flow directed to the radiator, and restricts flow up through the fairing into the rider's bubble. CNC milled and hard anodized aircraft grade aluminum alloy, its function goes beyond the technical! Design factors are similar to the Rear Brake master cylinder. Please ensure that any modifications to the motorcycle will not impede the operation of the front steering and suspension when adding this part to the lower fairing. This part is designed to fit a stock fairing.
