This precision machined one piece billet aluminum unit allows the rider to better control the quick revving nature of the 990 Adventure and finely tuned 950 Adventures and Super Enduros. The basis of this design is to slow down the rate of throttle opening in the first half of the rider's hand movement. This gives more precise control during transitions such as when riding technical trails or apexing a corner when fine rider input control is required. The second half of the throttle opening rate is increased to create a slightly shorter total rotation, allowing the rider to reach full throttle quicker.

Adventure Machines suggests applying a small amount of water proof light weight grease to the bar end surface prior to installing the EVO throttle sleeve to improve the feel and performance.
